Diablo Valley College Horticulture
Explore the world of plants
Explore plant science and cultivation through Diablo Valley College's Horticulture program. Study plant anatomy and diverse species, practice growing techniques, and build skills you can use in your own garden.
A community that grows together
Students, faculty, and alumni share knowledge and hands-on experience. Whether you're new to gardening or an experienced grower, you can learn alongside people who care about plants and the local environment.
Our program brings the DVC community together through classes, plant sales, and events.
Spring 2027 update: Transitioning to cashless sales
DVC Horticulture is going cashless in Spring 2027! Beginning with our February 19 & 20, 2027 plant sale, we will no longer be able to accept cash as a form of payment.
Because Diablo Valley College is transitioning to a cashless campus, our program is required to make this change alongside the rest of the college. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.
